AOM 2008 PDW: Questioning for Relevance
Contact info: 99 S 5th Ave (Please change the _at_ text with an "@" symbol; this is to avoid spamming web-bots) | Welcome to my website! I have created this web presence to tell you about my work. As a Professor of Management at Clarion University of Pennsylvania I teach a variety of courses on Leadership, Management, Human Resources, and International Business. I serve as Advisor to the SHRM Clarion student chapter, in addition to other departmental, college, and university-level committees (most can be found in my CV, provided for information purposes only--I am not seeking a new job!). I am also an Author and Editor (along with my colleagues from nine different countries) of Successful Professional Women of the Americas. After a few years as Founding Member of the Editorial Board of NSHMBA's new scholarly publication: Business Journal of Hispanic Research, I accepted to be its Editor-in-Chief in October of 2010. I also write a column-blog combination for its monthly newsletter the bottom line. The column is titled "Let's talk about..." I research on topics dealing with Management, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Gender, Latino organizations, Business Ethics, Christian/Catholic Social Thought, and Latin America, with an emphasis on Mexico. I have served the MED (Management Education Development) Division of the Academy of Management as "Liaison to Practice." Here is a blog of my activities in this office, and a Web-based summary of the Professional Development Workshop (PDW) I organized to serve the membership that elected me. Along with Xhonané Olivas, my beloved wife and business partner, I occasionally offer Consulting services. |
